6.8/10

Our stay at the hotel was quite a mix. On one hand, we loved the spacious rooms with patio views and the engaging outdoor areas for relaxation. On the other hand, the service left much to be desired, as we encountered cleanliness issues and unresponsive staff during our visit. Overall, while it has great potential for a relaxing getaway, certain aspects, particularly the service and maintenance, need urgent attention.

Rooms

The rooms were spacious and had a nice covered balcony with rocking chairs overlooking the lake, but they need updating in terms of wallpaper and furniture.

Service was lacking, with dirty common areas and a noticeable absence of staff, which made it hard to get help when needed.
Location
8.0
The location was beautiful, close to the lake, but access to certain amenities was not ideal.
Dining
7.0
Dining options were lovely, but the restaurant's hours were limited, leaving us seeking options elsewhere for some meals.

The outdoor areas were well maintained, providing pleasant spots to relax.

The Inn at Mill Falls has a beautiful ambiance and is situated in a scenic area, making it a great spot for a getaway. However, my experience was overshadowed by issues in cleanliness and maintenance. The staff was polite, but overall, the condition of the rooms did not match the price paid, leaving me quite disappointed.

Rooms
5.0
The room I stayed in was disappointing, with noticeable wear and tear, including dirty areas and a broken tub drainage. Additionally, the door to the patio kept opening unexpectedly at night, which was unsettling.
Service
5.0
The service was decent, and the staff was friendly, but I felt they lacked presence at the front desk throughout my stay, which made certain situations frustrating.
Location
7.0
The hotel's location was nice, with shops and dining nearby, although the lack of guest parking became a hassle.
Dining
5.0
I did not have a great experience with the breakfast offerings; it fell short of expectations in both quality and options.
Facilities
5.0
Although the hotel had several facilities, they were not well-maintained, as I noticed some safety hazards in the pool area, which was disappointing.

5.8/10

I had a bit of a mixed experience at this hotel. While the surroundings are absolutely beautiful and the communal areas are inviting, I found that the rooms left much to be desired. Noise from kids in the hallways was quite bothersome, and there were issues with housekeeping. Overall, the property has potential but needs some serious improvements, especially in room quality and services.

Rooms
5.0
The rooms were quite outdated and in desperate need of refurbishment, lacking adequate lighting and not providing the peaceful atmosphere I hoped for.
Service
6.0
While the staff was accommodating, I had concerns about services that were supposed to be included but weren't provided as expected, making me feel like I wasn't getting my money's worth.
Location
7.0
The location is lovely with scenic views nearby, but I was disappointed by the busy road that separated some buildings, which took away from the overall charm of the area.
Dining
5.0
I found the dining experience to be disappointing, especially the breakfast, which was far from satisfactory and did not meet my expectations.
Facilities
7.0
The facilities on-site looked good, with a decent spa and entertainment options, but the overall experience at the restaurant detracted from the enjoyment.

6.2/10

My stay at this hotel was a mixed bag. The rooms were comfortable and had a nice colonial charm, but I was disappointed with the view and had issues with cleanliness. The staff seemed preoccupied during check-in, but the common areas were inviting. Overall, this hotel has its strengths in amenities and decor, but there were enough issues to make me consider other options for my next visit.

Rooms
5.0
While the rooms had a nice charm and were generally comfortable, the cleanliness left something to be desired. I definitely noticed bugs, which was unsettling.
Service
6.0
The service was professional but lacked warmth during check-in; it felt more like a transaction than a welcoming experience.
Location
7.0
The hotel's location had potential, being near the lake, but views were inconsistent across different buildings, and mine was pretty lackluster.
Dining
7.0
I didn't indulge in much dining here as the options were not what I expected, but the restaurant inside had a nice atmosphere and was well-frequented by locals.
Facilities
6.0
The facilities, including the common areas and cozy spots, added to the quaint atmosphere, but I would have liked to see better maintenance overall.

My family and I were eager to explore this part of New Hampshire and thought we’d found a gem based on the website and pictures. Sadly, our experience was very different from our expectations. The accommodations were far from what we imagined, especially considering the steep price tag. Although there were some nice aspects, the overall experience left us disappointed, especially given the issues with service and the facilities.

Rooms
5.0
Our room was old and musty, with a worn-down vibe that really didn't match the beautiful pictures we had seen. Honestly, it felt more like a movie set from a forgotten era.
Service
5.0
There seemed to be a lack of staff, and it took a while to find someone to help us. The one person at check-in was courteous, but we didn’t get that classic, warm local vibe we had anticipated.
Location
6.0
While the hotel has a charming setting in a lovely part of New Hampshire, our building was located quite a distance from the main hotel, which was noisy and less appealing.
Dining
5.0
Dining options were very limited during our stay due to some closures, making it frustrating to find meals without a proper plan.
Facilities
5.0
The overall condition of the facilities left a lot to be desired; there were broken fixtures and trash piling up, which took away from any sense of relaxation. For the price we paid, I expected much more.
